Katie Price accused of lying about US trip as holidaymakers spot her in New York

Katie Price has been accused of lying about her trip to the US after spotted her in New York this week.

The former glamour girl, 41, is believed to have jetted to the Big Apple with on/off boyfriend Kris Boyson for a romantic pre-Christmas break.

Fans reported seeing her on a flight to NYC, at JFK airport and at a hotel in the city, but Katie has bizarrely denied that she's in the US.

After the star posted a video of herself at home on her Instagram page, one of her followers asked if was a throwback because of her NYV holiday.

They wrote: "But aren't you on your way to New York? Time machine or old video..."

Katie then denied she'd jetted to New York, writing: "No don't believe what you read."

However, her claims have been contradicted by a number of fans who have spotted her in the Big Apple.

She was seen at baggage claim at JFK (Twitter)

One was on the same flight, and saw her collecting her luggage at JFK airport.

They wrote: "As if Katie Price was on my flight to JFK."

When another Twitter user asked if there were any pictures, the holidaymaker replied: "No just saw her collecting her luggage.

"She don't need me going up to her and shoving my iPhone in her face."

Another posted an update on Instagram stating that Katie had been seen at a hotel in NYC.

They wrote: "My sister-in-law just arrived in New York. She's buzzing she's in the same hotel...

"She's in New York. My sister-in-law in same hotel. They've just seen her."
