Katie Price accused of faking weight loss in before and after snaps as fans claim she's 'breathing in and out'

Katie Price has come under fire from Instagram followers who accused her of faking weight loss by “breathing in and out” in a recent promotional post.

The former glamour model has been sharing sponsored posts for weight loss regime Boombod over recent months, and uploaded a comparative ‘before and after’ picture to show off its effects.

“Getting loads of questions about the @boombod program and how I like it, and it’s not secret,” she wrote in the caption.

She went on to describe the products as “quick & easy” but “healthy,” writing: “These shots have a bunch of vitamins, use a clinically proven natural fibre, contain zero laxatives, and more importantly… they give results EVERY time!

“Definitely recommend checking them (and their new flavours!) out.”

Her Instagram followers were less than impressed with the snaps, with one describing the post as “the most pointless I’ve ever seen”.

“Who is actually believing this works?? Photos are nothing more than breathing in / out and turning on the side so less of her body is shown,” one scathing social media user wrote.

Katie Price slammed for promoting diet product in new Instagram post

“Breathe out... Take a picture. Now breathe in… take another picture. There is literally no difference!” another added.

“These 2 pictures literally could have been taken the same day!” a third comment read. “Straighten your hair, put lower sitting trousers on, breathe in a bit and smile, hey presto! Hilarious!!”

“Feel like this defines all weight loss before and after photos these days, before pic – make yourself look as fat as possible: after pic – breathe in at the best angle possible,” another follower wrote.

Standard Online has contacted a representative for Price for comment.

The 40-year-old recently faced criticism for including her children in promotional posts for diet products, filming 16-year-old son Harvey and 11-year-old daughter Princess in a sponsored video for low calorie sauces.

She also uploaded a photo of her family's Pancake Day celebrations to promote the same brand.
