Controversial columnist Katie Hopkins is developing a TV chatshow, according to a report.
Hopkins is working with Discovery Networks-owned channel TLC, the Broadcast website said.
It reported that TLC has been in contact with production companies about making the show, as well as talking to agents about potential guests.
Hopkins’ weight-loss documentary My Fat Story attracted record ratings for TLC when it aired in early January, with the second of its two parts pulling in 201,000 viewers.
It involved Hopkins attempting to gain three stone, then losing it in an effort to show that anyone can be thin.
The former Apprentice contestant turned Sun columnist has sparked a string of controversies with her outspoken comments.
She came under fire earlier this week when she described dementia patients as “bed blockers”.
Hopkins wrote on Twitter: “Dementia sufferers should not be blocking beds. What is the point of life when you no longer know you are living it? Bang me over the head.
“The day I am diagnosed with dementia is the day I book my ticket to Dignitas.
“Ultimately, if your family member is in hospital with dementia because you are not caring for them – you have no right to be outraged.”
Ex-footballer Robbie Savage, an ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Society, said he was “mortified” by the tweets as his father Colin died at 63 after battling the disease, which is thought to affect 850,000 people in the UK.
