Kathy Hilton’s Red-and-Gold Christmas Tree Shows Why She Reigns as the Ultimate Holiday Host – And Inspires a Look We’ll Be Re-Creating for Years

Kathy Hilton.

Kathy Hilton has secured her place as an expert holiday host, so it's no surprise that even her on-set Christmas decor is mood board-worthy.

After seeing a clip of her traditional Christmas tree in a clip shared to her Instagram page, we are making additions to our trees based on her timeless styling choices. The red and gold palette, which is abundant via metallic ornaments, as well as the white lights, creates a nostalgic tree look that we can't get enough of.

To recreate it, start with a green pine tree as your base (this Tiffany fir from Wayfair conveniently comes pre-lit). Then, collage the tree with ornaments of varying shapes and sizes for a dynamic look, like this red and gold set of classic baubles from Target, and this adorable felt wreath ornament for some added texture.

'What makes Kathy Hilton’s Christmas tree truly timeless is its effortless balance of tradition and elegance,' comments Megan Slack, the head of Celebrity Style at Homes & Gardens.

'The classic red-and-gold palette paired with warm white lights evokes a sense of nostalgia while still feeling fresh and intentional, proving that holiday decor doesn’t need to be trendy to be captivating. Each ornament, whether metallic, matte, or textured, is thoughtfully layered to create depth and movement, making the tree feel alive and dynamic. This is a look that transcends seasons and can be revisited year after year. But I'm not surprised, this is Kathy's tree after all.'
