Kathryn Thomas reveals she will tie the knot with fiance Padraig McLoughlin in August

Kathryn Thomas has revealed she has set a date for her wedding and will tie the knot in Ireland in August.

The mum-of-one has just three months to organise her nuptials to long-term fiancé Padraig McLoughlin.

“We finally have a date after three years.” the 40-year-old said at the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards.

“It’s in August and it’s in Ireland. We only decided in February, so when I say last minute, we are very last minute.

“But if you can’t organise a party in three months there’s something wrong.”

The Operation Transformation presenter, who is keeping tight-lipped on the wedding venue, was forced to cancel her big day twice already.

Kathryn and Padraig - who met in O’Donoghues pub on Baggot Street in 2013 - became engaged in November 2016 at the exclusive Ballyfin Demesne hotel in Co Laois.

The pair decided to postpone their wedding plans as having a baby was more important to them.

After two heartbreaking miscarriages, Kathryn gave birth to baby Ellie on March 23 last year.

Kathryn, who  regularly opts for Irish designer Synan O’Mahony to dress her for red carpet appearances including last Friday night’s Style Awards, has previously admitted that she will wear an Irish-designed dress for her wedding.

The Limerick based designer has been creating bridal and evening wear looks for Irish women for over a decade.

O’Mahony also dressed fellow Style Awards attendees Glenda Gilson and Erin McGregor.

The 2018 Dancing with the Stars contestant revealed how her dress was shedding light on a worthy cause.

The older sister of MMA superstar Conor McGregor opted for a blue dress as April is Autism Awareness Month and blue is one of the colours used for autism awareness.

She said: “Whether you light up the world or keep it blue. You are making a difference so keep been you #austismawarenessmonth.”
