Katherine Ryan is reportedly expecting her fourth child, just two months after revealing she had been diagnosed with melanoma for a second time.
According to HELLO!, the 41-year-old comedian is said to be pregnant with her third child with long-time partner Bobby Koostra.
The couple already share two young children, Fred, three, and Fenna, two, while Ryan is also mum to 15-year-old Violet from a previous relationship. She has not yet confirmed the pregnancy on her social media channels.
The news comes shortly after Ryan revealed in March that she had been diagnosed with skin cancer for a second time, two decades after her first melanoma diagnosis at the age of 21.
“The mole kept changing,” she said at the time. “I know a lot about melanoma. I had melanoma as a very young woman aged 21 — on my leg.
“I’ve spoken about that before. It was flat, it wasn’t that big, but it was melanoma. It is a deadly form of skin cancer and it does spread quickly.”

She underwent surgery to remove the mole on her arm and later shared a photo of the bandaged area with followers on Instagram.
In addition to her recent health challenges, Ryan has spoken openly about experiencing pregnancy loss.
On her Telling Everybody Everything podcast, she revealed she had suffered three miscarriages over the last five years — including one during her most recent tour in September.
“We lost another pregnancy in September at the beginning of the tour,” she said. “Which was fine, and then it was difficult, and then it became fine again. I’m totally fine about it now.”
She reflected on how the timing affected her tour schedule: “I looked in the calendar and I thought, ‘oh, we would be due to have that baby in March… I can do the Irish dates of my tour and land, and I have a few specific dates off, I can make sure I have the baby on this specific day and then do the London dates of the Palladium with a small baby.’”

Ryan added that her miscarriages required surgical intervention.
“It does not resolve itself on its own,” she said. “Some of the occasions we have had the products of conception tested… This time in September, I absolutely thought it was my fault because I was on tour.”
