Katherine Ryan has revealed that the third UK lockdown has taken a toll on her.
The Duchess star, 37, admitted that despite being blessed with a permanent positive attitude and outlook on life, the past couple of months have been rather tough.
Lifting the lid on her life in lockdown during a candid Facebook Live chat with The Mirror, the Canadian comedian said she was tired of working from home and doing virtual comedy shows.
“We film a lot from home now,” the Netflix star explained.
“But I miss other comedians and I miss comedy audiences and comedy clubs and the pub culture.
“It’s all so special, and for live stand-up, you need an audience. And with virtual gigs, I think it’s tough, I don’t think it’s the same.”
Katherine went on: “I really miss that energy. Nothing gets me down, ever, I am very lucky and I’m happy all the time, but if I’m saying that I’m struggling a little bit right now, then I think everyone is.
“Especially with the cold weather, it’s tough having to give it that extra push.”
Elsewhere on Facebook Live, the comedy actress rated and slated readers rather unusual food creations which they had whipped up in the kitchen.
The self-confessed foodie has joined forces with Gousto on its Cookstarter campaign, which is supporting independent restaurants across the UK as new research shows a massive 90 percent have faced the risk of permanent closure as a result of the pandemic.
