Kate Wright suffered a "stressful" wedding nightmare as she was left without a dress days before marrying Rio Ferdinand in Turkey.
The reality TV star exchanged vows with the former footballer this weekend, and she's opened up about the disaster that struck shortly before she flew out.
Kate, 27, reveals she found her frock was not "made right" and was she was left scrambling to find another.
She told OK! magazine: "I had been having a dress made since January but it all went wrong and it just wasn’t made right.
"A week before we flew to Turkey, I still didn’t have a dress. It was a total nightmare and I was stressed!
"I had to have an entire new dress made by The Wedding Club and fitted within a week."
She ended up walking down the aisle in an ivory fishtail Berta gown, and Kate admits she preferred it to her original choice.
She added: "In the end I adored my dress and preferred it to the original. Some things are meant to be.”
Kate and Rio tied the knot on Friday in front of their loved ones D Maris Bay hotel in Turkey.
The nuptials were shrouded in secrecy, with guests asked to hand over their phones before the three-day celebrations got underway.
In the first interview about the wedding, dad-of-three Rio, 40, admitted he got "so emotional" when he saw his daughter Tia, eight, walk down the aisle before seeing his stunning new bride, 27.
He told OK! magazine : “I cried as soon as the day started. Seeing Tia walk up the aisle before Kate set me off. It was just so emotional.
"There was just no going back on the emotion, that’s why I had to keep my shades on! Seeing Tate and Lorenz walk Kate down the aisle was particularly poignant and we wouldn’t have wanted to do it any other way.
"They were so proud and they couldn’t wait to do that, they felt important."
Kate and Rio began dating after the tragic death of his wife, Rebecca Ellison, the mother of his three children Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and Tia.
Their love story goes back to when the lovebirds first started dating in late 2016.
They had been together for two flourishing years before he popped the question.
