Kate Wright and Rio Ferdinand put family at the heart of their wedding as they this weekend with a stunning ceremony in Marmaris, Turkey.
The nuptials see their 'blended famiy' officially united, after Kate has acted as stepmum to Rio's three children for the last two years.
And as bride Kate walked down the aisle, she had Rio's seven-year-old daughter Tia right by her side as Maid of Honour.
It was a special tribute to the youngster who was picked for the duty out of Kate's nine bridesmaids.
Dad Rio previously said how his heart burst when Kate surprised Tia with the news at a family party.
The former footballer wrote: "What this beautiful woman has brought to all of our lives is hard to put into words. But this picture of excitement on my little girls face(pixilated but u get it) says it all.
"Surprising her by revealing that she is going to be the Maid of Honour (the girl in charge she says) on our wedding day & then to see her filled with crazy joy and excitement I could never have imagined before now.
"These are the moments that melt my heart & pushes my love for you even deeper."
Rio became a single dad to Tia and her brothers Lorenz, 13, and Tate, 11, after his wife Rebecca tragically died in May 2015 from cancer in 2015.
Widower Rio, 40, had met Kate, 27, the following year and romance soon followed.
Kate quit her day job as a castmember in The Only Way is Essex, parted ways with her agent, and hasn't looked back.
She's come along way from her days as the bubbly bikini-clad reality TV star known as the Barbie of Essex, to on-off boyfriend Dan Edgar's Ken.
Kate has fully embraced her role as stepmum to Rio's kids - though she's admitted it's not been without its struggles.
Opening up on the transition, Kate previously said on This Morning: "The kids are a really big part of our relationship, everything we’ve done we included them - from the first date, to me moving in, to asking me to be his girlfriend.
She added: "It is challenging but it's just as amazing. It was always going to be a hard job, it was never going to be easy but I love it and I couldn't imagine life without the three children."
An onlooker at Kate and Rio's September wedding said they were surprised at the lack of celebrity guests and it was clear the couple had a strict family policy.
Bride Kate is said to have invited just one of her TOWIE co-stars, pregnant Lydia Bright.
The eye witness told the Mail Online: "It seems as if it was an overwhelmingly a family and friends affair, which is quite unusual for a high-profile wedding such as this. I was looking out for famous footballers and other figures but did not see any. Perhaps they were just keeping a low profile."
