Kate Wright has well and truly savaged fiancé Rio Ferdinand on his milestone 40th birthday.
The 27-year-old TOWIE star, who announced her engagement to the ex-footballer last week, shared a picture of her other half as a school boy.
She captioned the shot: “Happy Birthday you old sod. 40 today.”
She then posted another, teasing: “P.S. I'm actually going out with a 40 year old wtf??"
Ferdinand also took to social media to share a series of snaps from his younger days, joking that he remembers it “like it was yesterday.”
He also shared a look at his decadent baby blue birthday cake with, “Happy 40th Birthday Daddy”, iced across the board.
The celebration comes after Ferdinand dropped down on one knee in Abu Dhabi to pop the question to Wright in front of his three children following two years together.
Lorenz, 12, Tate, 10 and seven-year-old Tia rushed excitedly to hug the happy couple, who have been dating since January 2017.
Wright shared a series of snaps capturing the idyllic moment, deeming it the “perfect end to our holiday”.
Alongside a series of heart emojis she posted: “How could the answer not be yes.”
Ferdinand also shared the moment on Instagram, joking that he has no idea how his children managed to refrain from letting slip the secret to Wright.
He posted: “She said yes. How these 3 kids kept it a secret I’ll never know.”
