Hospital drama Casualty has become quite the staple of British TV since it aired for the first time in 1986.
Originally filmed in Bristol for 25 years, before moving to Roath Lock Studios in Cardiff where it is currently filmed, the show has seen hundreds of actors in some rather gory storylines.
And they aren’t just your average soap stars, some have made careers in Hollywood and others are famous presenters.
Kate Winslet
In 1993, four years before she starred in Titanic , and 15 years before she would win an Oscar for The Reader , Ms Winslet, then 18, played a teenage babysitter suffering abuse at the hands of her boyfriend.
Orlando Bloom
Before brushing shoulders with Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom appeared in Casualty in 1996 as a labourer who suffered some nasty scrapes.
The same episode also features early appearances from comedy actor Kevin Bishop and Eastenders actor Nadia Sawalha.
Tom Hiddleston
Best known for playing Loki in the Thor films, Tom Hiddleston’s early acting career was also pretty action-heavy, having played a rock climber who accidentally knocked a woman leaning out of her balcony when he abseiled down from an apartment block roof in Casualty in 2007.
David Walliams
David Walliams starred in Casualty in the same year that Little Britain aired, playing the father of a malnourished child.
Daisy Ridley
Daisy Ridley starred in an episode of Casualty called And The Walls Come Tumbling Down just two years before her big screen debut as Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The actress played a teenage girl injured in an accident at a fairground.
Nicholas Hoult
Seven-year-old Nicholas Hoult made his TV debut in a 1996 episode of Casualty, playing the young son of a man knocked unconscious during a garage accident. This was six years before he starred in About a Boy alongside Hugh Grant.
Martin Freeman
The Hobbit star made one of his first ever TV appearances in a 1998 episode of Casualty, playing a petty criminal who requires medical attention when a robbery goes wrong.
McFly
At the height of their fame, the McFly boys starred in an episode of Casualty in 2005, surprising an injured fan with roses and tour tickets with backstage passes.
Kathy Burke
Before carving a career in comedy and writing, Kathy Burke starred in an episode of Casualty in 1991, playing the daughter of a mentally ill man who spills hot oil down his back.
