Here’s a post-VIP party as seen by Caravaggio. Naomi Campbell is imperious in a silk, lace-trimmed camisole with black waistcoat and skinny sequinned scarf. Kate Moss wears chiffon and is draped with a normcore Noel Gallagher, resplendent in shades of grey.
The trio are watching TV for Gogglebox – and the set styling is precise. Like student flatmates who never bothered to make friends with anyone else, all the framed photographs in the room feature Kate, Naomi and Noel. On the coffee table are two copies of Vogue (one each for Naomi and Kate) with a copy of Mojo. Noel drinks tea in a pretty green mug, Naomi enjoys a Peroni while Kate is either on the water or the vodka – and that’s an enigma we enjoy.
Of course, there is a huge bunch of flowers – because when one is truly fabulous, there are always flowers.
Incongruously, there is also what looks like a packet of KP Nuts on the pouffe under the coffee table – presumably a reference to Moss’s previous great cinematic moment, singing the song KP Nuts with Pete Doherty, in which she winningly told him: “Don’t la la me”.
Full style marks for the midnight blue, velvet sofa – much sleeker than the usual pouchy Gogglebox couches. But we wish there was a Pot Noodle container being used as a cup, a la Sandy and Sandra. And as for wearing chiffon and sequins to watch telly: surely, even for a supermodel, that’s got to chafe?
