Kate Moss 'embarking on floristry career'

Supermodel Kate Moss

Kate Moss is reportedly setting out on a career in the floristry world.

The 52-year-old supermodel is believed to be launching a range of bouquets, wreaths, shrubs, seedings and other items, according to The Sun.

A source told the newspaper's Bizarre column: "Kate fell in love with gardening after moving to the Cotswolds, and this is forming the basis of her new venture.

"She has been experimenting with some ideas, and she’s decided her own range is the way to go."

In 2004, Kate splashed out a reported £2.5million on a Grade II-listed countryside retreat in Little Faringdon.

Since she left London behind for a full-time life in the Cotswolds, West Oxfordshire, South East England, in late 2021, the blonde beauty has enjoyed a more relaxed way of life.

In 2022, she guest edited the Financial Times' How to Spend It series, in which she shared: "Pottering around my home in the country is one of my favourite things to do; it’s when I’m most happy.

"I love tending to my house plants so a good watering can is essential."

In February 2023, she told her Instagram followers that she likes to spend her mornings meditating in a field "before the world is awake".

Kate posted a shot of herself in a meadow of poppies, with the caption: "I started spending a lot of time in my garden in the pandemic and noticing flowers that I didn't even know I had.

"It's become my favourite place now; where I feel happiest. I go out into the field and meditate sometimes early in the morning before the world is awake."

The star's former wellness brand Cosmoss helped her to focus on "self-love".

Kate explained: "When I started to take care of myself, things began to change. They say that self-care is part of self-love. That's what we all need, that's what I needed, to follow the Cosmoss.

"Happiness is little things. Yesterday I picked a load of flowers from my garden for my stepfather's birthday - sweet peas and dahlias.

"That makes me happy I think I'm the happiest I've ever been."

Kate was adamant that she has not changed as a person just because her lifestyle has been altered.

She went on: "The important thing about changing your lifestyle is that you don’t change yourself. I used to be a hedonist, and that is still a part of my personality, that hasn’t gone... I definitely like to have fun. It’s good to be multi-faceted, and we all have to recognise those different parts of our personality."
