Kate Middleton wears perfect rainy day outfit on visit to Cumbria

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Cumbria on Tuesday afternoon to meet and celebrate members of the rural community, as well as catch a glimpse of day-to-day life by shearing sheep at a local farm.

Kate was dressed appropriately for the rainy summer weather in the Lake District, stepping out in Keswick wrapped up in a olive military jacket with statement honey gold buttons and flattering drawstring waist by London-based brand Troy.

The £275 jacket is described on the label's website as, "the ultimate throw-on summer jacket." Kate paired the jacket with black skinny jeans and chic layers, including a frilly white shirt peeking out from under a khaki jumper.

The 37-year-old also wore a trendy pair of lace-up ankle boots by Chloe, which Kate was last seen wearing in March during a visit to the Scouts' headquarters in London.

Keeping a relaxed appearance, Kate fashioned her hair into a loose ponytail - a sensible option given this week's UK weather forecast.
