Kate Middleton wears Emilia Wickstead for garden opening

She rarely puts a well-heeled foot wrong where her sartorial choices are concerned.

And today was no exception, as the Duchess of Cambridge attended the opening of a new garden for children at RHS Garden Wisley.

Donning an Emilia Wickstead floral dress and paired-back wedges, the Duchess looked the epitome of fresh-faced, as she wore her newly-lightened hair loose and make-up natural. The cotton-blend, belted seersucker dress costs £1635, and is still available to purchase online here.

Kate is continuing the floral theme from her last public appearance, when she dropped Princess Charlotte off for her first day at school, wearing a Michael Kors 'Carnation' dress.

During her visit to the gardens, the Duchess planted a blue cedar tree in the new space, which has been created for families to have a space to play and relax.

And Kate has been hands on with the garden’s development, working with The Royal Horticultural Society and Davies White Landscape Architects to finalise its design.

As with the other RHS Back to Nature Gardens, the garden aims to support Kate's work to highlight how spending time surrounded by nature helps with both physical and mental wellbeing.

The new play garden is open at RHS Garden Wisley from 10th September to 15th September.
