Kate Middleton wears dress by brand founded by ex-Harper’s Bazaar Fashion Director

Kate Middleton arrived at the Aga Khan Centre in King’s Cross today wearing a floor-length teal dress which is from the collaboration between two lesser-known London-based brands, ARoss Girl and Soler.

ARoss Girl is the brainchild of ex-Harper’s Bazaar Fashion Director, Amanda Ross, which she started after she recognised the need for a dress that can seamlessly transition from cocktail to work to play. Soler meanwhile, is the Golborne Road-based atelier run by Alex Al-Bader.

Thw two brands have collaborated since 2018 on a range of dresses, tops and skirts.

Kate's teal silk georgette maxi dress features a demure high neck and long sleeves with bow ties, and a contrasting emerald green sash waist. The 'Amanda' dress retails for £825, but is currently on sale for £577.50 - shop it here.

To complement the teal frock, 37-year-old Kate opted for emerald drop earrings by Pakistani designer Zeen, which retail for £7 and are still available to buy, forest green pumps and a matching clutch.

She kept her newly-lightened hair in its signature blow-dry, with her make-up natural.

While this is the first time Kate has opted to wear the brand, it is a favourite of the Countess of Wessex, who was most recently spotted wearing a polka-dot midi dress from the collaboration in July this year.

Kate stepped out with Prince William to meet 82-year-old spiritual leader, Aga Khan, and to attend an event showcasing modern Pakistani culture ahead of their royal tour of the country, which will begin on October 14.
