Kate Middleton's modern makeover continued on Tuesday morning as she stepped out to visit the Henry Fawcett Children's Centre in Kennington wearing a pair of wide-leg trousers and a statement shirt.
The engagement is the second time the Duchess of Cambridge has ditched royal-appropriate dresses for the smart trouser shape, the first time was during a trip to Cyprus in December 2018.
Although seeing Kate in a contemporary trouser is rare, the duchess styled the Jigsaw item perfectly, offsetting the androgynous bottom half with a feminine pussy-bow shirt.
The statement blouse, in a trendy powder violet, is by luxury fashion house Gucci and is available to buy for £790. It also comes in stylish 2019 spring hues, bright green and coral pink.
In the past, Kate has stuck to a handful of trusted designers, such as Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham, but 2019 has seen Kate experimenting with more contemporary fashion houses.
This is the second time the 37-year-old has stunned in a Gucci ensemble this year. In February, she wore an elegant two-tone berry ball gown by the Italian label for the 100 Women In Finance Gala.

In an addition to her handbag collection, the duchess accessorised with a matching lilac croc bag by Aspinal of London.
The duchess will also make a second appearance at the National Portrait Gallery later this evening, where we are sure her sartorial prowess will continue.
