Kate Middleton wears £69 culottes and £50 trainers for surprise visit to Chelsea Flower Show

The Duchess of Cambridge has spent the past few months designing the Back to Nature Garden for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

On Sunday evening the Cambridge family gave the public a sneak peek at the outdoor creation, created by the duchess and award-winning landscape architects Andrée Davies and Adam White. On Monday, Kate was back at the garden once again, as she made a surprise visit to show local schoolchildren around the plot.

Dressed ready to explore, Kate wore button-front wide-leg culottes in a camel hue by Massimo Dutti. The £69.95 trousers proved to be a practical choice when the duchess demonstrated her adventerous side and climbed into a tree house.

The summer-ready ensemble also featured a £255 Mabel Broderie-Anglaise Cotton Shirt by M.I.H Jeans and was finished off with a pair of trendy white Superga trainers, which the 37-year-old has been spotted in on several occasions and are available to buy for £50.

We're sure this won't be the last we see of the duchess over Chelsea Flower Show, which opens to the public tomorrow.
