Kate Middleton's latest outfit contained sweet romantic detail ahead of anniversary

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary later this month, but it appears Kate is already looking back to the special day.

The mum-of-three rewore part of her bridal outfit for the Royal Family 's latest group outing - a trip to church to celebrate Easter Sunday.

The stunning custom Robinson Pelham earrings were a gift from her mum and dad on her wedding day, and they have a very special meaning being them.

Inspired by the family's coat of arms, they comprised of diamond-set stylised oak leaves with a pear-shaped diamond set-drop and a pavé-set diamond acorn in the centre.

Two names Princess Diana rejected for William and Harry - but Meghan Markle might pick one

Kate wore them for the  Order of the Garter ceremony  in 2016 - the first time we saw her wear them in public after her wedding.

And she decided to dig them out again as she joined the Queen, Prince Harry , Princess Beatrice and other members of the Royal Family at St George's Chapel over the weekend.

Her whole look was recycled, teaming the earrings with her baby blue Alexander McQueen coat and a matching dress and fascinator.

'You've been Meghan Markled' appears on Urban Dictionary - and it's not flattering

We last saw her wearing the smart and sleek coat for an Easter service when she was on a Royal Tour of Australia with Prince William back in 2014.

She accessorized with a grey Jane Taylor fascinator and nude Emmy London heels.

Kate exchanged a quick joke with brother-in-law Harry as they waited for the Queen to arrive at the service, but he did not appear to speak to William at all.

HARRY LEANS IN FOR AN EXCHANGE WITH KATE

Meghan Markle's mum 'arrives in UK' sparking speculation royal baby is imminent

Dad-to-be Harry walked to the church several metres ahead of the Cambridges, who followed after him with Zara and Mike Tindall.

When the royals lined up at the entrance to St George's Chapel he could be seen leaning over to chat to Kate .

They exchanged a few words with big smiles on their faces but William, who was standing directly next to Kate, was not included in the joke.

While his eye contact with Kate doesn't break, he doesn't even glance up at his brother.
