The Duchess of Cambridge already has one-year-old Prince Louis involved in the arts. According to The Daily Mail, Kate Middleton brings her son to music classes designed for babies and toddlers called Monkey Music.
The children and parent group classes are said to include singing and dancing lessons from a monkey puppet, and the weekly session offer an affordable introduction to music, costing around $15. Kate Middleton and the other parents are also said to joins in.
Even though he’s the youngest in the family, Prince Louis isn’t the only member taking music and dance lessons. Prince George, who is now six-years-old, takes ballet lessons that include a live pianist as part of his curriculum at St Thomas’s Battersea.
Earlier this year, Princess Charlotte joined her big brother at the school, which is said to offer lessons in art, music and drama as well.
An appreciation of the arts has long been part of the royal family’s interests, as the late Princess Diana studied ballet while growing up. Her love for ballet continued throughout her life, with Princess Diana serving as a supporter of the English National Ballet - she even arranged a performance at the Royal Opera House for supporters and friends of the Royal Ballet, where she danced alongside Royal Ballet dancer Wayne Sleep.
Kate Middleton is also a budding photographer. She has been taking her children’s birthday portraits every year and sharing them on Instagram, proving that a love of the arts runs in the family.
