Kate Middleton praises Holly Willoughby's brother-in-law for 'small act of kindness'

Kate Middleton praised Holly Willoughby's brother-in-law after the presenter shared a touching photo to show what he had done.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 39, appeared on This Morning today to launch ambitious project Hold Still, which will run for the next six weeks.

Brits have been asked to send in selfies and photos of their memories of the coronavirus pandemic for a national exhibition.

Within the three categories that the public can sent in photos for is 'Acts of Kindness'.

"Those small acts of kindness go a long way and they should be celebrated," Kate said. "Those are the positive stories in this really difficult time. It's really great to capture those sorts of stories and experiences as well."

Phillip Schofield then pointed out to Holly: "You've got one of those, actually. A picture..."

"I do actually," Holly said as she revealed the picture that she would enter if she could.

The presenter explained: "It was taken by my brother-in-law Dominic and he only sent this through this morning, not knowing that I was speaking to you today."

Sharing the picture of five disposable coffee cups on a ledge, Holly said: "He's opened up his window there and he's put little espresso shots for the refuse guys when they come and pick up the rubbish there as just a little act of kindness."

Kate responded: "That's brilliant!"

"She's not going to enter it because she didn't take it," Phil quipped.
