Kate Middleton is celebrating the birth of her close friend's baby and is said to be overjoyed at the news.
Sophie Snuggs, who is one of Princess Charlotte's godparents, gave birth to her own daughter on Friday, June 21.
Amalia Rose Charlotte Snuggs' arrival was announced in The Times and comes just 14 months after Kate's third child Prince Louis was born.
It is thought Amalia's middle name Charlotte, may well be a touching tribute to the Duchess of Cambridge and daughter Charlotte, who was bridesmaid at Sophie and husband Robert's wedding in September.

Sophie, nee Carter, has a close connection to to the royals and to Kate's family, according to Hello magazine.
Sophie grew up in the village of Letheringsett in Norfolk, not far from William and Kate's country home, Anmer Hall .
She once dated Prince William's best friend Thomas van Straubenzee.
She is often seen with Kate, at Wimbledon and on Christmas Day at the church service in Norfolk.

She also attended the wedding of Kate's sister Pippa to James Matthews and Prince Harry's big day with Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle.
In 2015 she was given the honour of becoming Princess Charlotte's godmother.
