A photo of the Princess of Wales looking stony-faced at a royal event appears in the explosive new trailer for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's bombshell Netflix series.
The clip features emotional footage of Meghan crying and Harry saying he had to "do everything he could to protect his family."
In addition, t he minute-long teaser shows also never before seen pictures of the couple, including holiday snaps and photos from the private part of their wedding celebrations.
And within those snaps, there is also a photo that focuses on Kate as well as Prince William sitting in front of Harry and Meghan at the 2019 Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey.

Within the trailer, Harry's voice says: "No-one sees what is happening behind closed doors", while there is a shot of Meghan holding her head in her hand while clutching a phone.
The trailer then flicks to the snap of a sombre-looking William and Kate before Harry adds: "I had to do everything I could do protect my family."
The Commonwealth Day service in 2019 came at a time when Meghan was heavily pregnant with Archie and just months later, Harry first hinted at a rift with brother William during an ITV documentary.

The trailer comes the day after the royal family were involved in a huge race row, sparked by the Queen's close friend and close confidant Lady Susan Hussey repeatedly questioned a black British-born domestic abuse charity boss during a Buckingham Palace reception about where she “really came from”.
It also coincides with the Prince and Princess of Wales' three-day trip to Boston for the annual Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony.
They flew into the United States yesterday and were booed as they arrived at a basketball game.
The trailer for the new Netflix show - titled Harry & Meghan - opens with a woman's voice asking why they wanted to do the documentary, before a slideshow of personal photos begins.

The clip also shows a time-lapse of photos of both Harry and Meghan as children before it cuts to a shot of them sitting on a sofa.
Meghan can be seen wiping tears from both of her eyes while Harry, who is sitting next to her, pushes himself back on the sofa.
She then says: "When the stakes are this high, doesn't it make more sense to hear our story from us?"
Netflix has rated the show a 15 as it contains "language and discrimination". It has also revealed more information about the documentary, which has been split into six episodes.

The streaming service also describes the film as a “global event” and says it is “coming soon”.
A spokesman for Netflix said: "In an unprecedented and in-depth documentary series, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex share the other side of their high-profile love story.
"Across six episodes, the series explores the clandestine days of their early courtship and the challenges that led to them feeling forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution.

"With commentary from friends and family, most of whom have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed, and historians who discuss the state of the British Commonwealth today and the royal family’s relationship with the press, the series does more than illuminate one couple’s love story, it paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other.
"From the critically-acclaimed, two-time Academy Award-nominated and Emmy-winning director Liz Garbus, Harry & Meghan is a never-before-seen look at one of the most-discussed couples in history."
