Kate Middleton had 'wedding day worry' she feared would be heard live on TV

When Kate and Prince William married almost 11 years ago, it was a television event for the ages, broadcast all around the world.

Millions of people tuned in to watch the Royal wedding, and to witness Kate Middleton formally be introduced into the Royal Family, as reported by the Mirror.

And as any normal young couple does, wedding day nerves would have been rife in the camp - especially considering the stature of said event.

However, according to a new book by ex-Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown, titled The Palace Papers, Kate did have one big thing she was stressed about on her big day.

Brown states that Kate was the "world's most unflappable bride" and there were "no last-minute panics" and "no tantrums".

Yet, there was one thing she was stressing over, as the author writes: "I am told the bride's only anxiety on the wedding day itself was that her stomach rumbling might be picked up by a hot mic."

Imagine that - a tummy rumble broadcast to millions? We could never.

11 years on from the event, Kate has taken Royal duties into her stride and now had three children to Prince William - Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

And it has been a busy week of royal duties for her and William this week with them paying a visit to Scotland for a range of engagements, where they focussed on the topic of mental health.

Earlier this week, Edinburgh Live also reported that Prince William was pictured in Edinburgh today as the future king popped into Tynecastle stadium, as he received a rather lovely present for his daughter.

In a final bid to get the royals wearing maroon, Ann Budge was seen presenting the Duke with a brand new personalised strip for Princess Charlotte, which appeared to go down well.

Travelling up to Edinburgh on Wednesday along with the Duchess of Cambridge, the couple had been spotted yesterday at Holyrood as they disembarked from the royal helicopter.

Also visiting other Scottish groups in Glasgow on Wednesday, the pair are expected to have returned back to their home in England.
