Kate Middleton giggles as she excitedly climbs into tuk-tuk on Pakistan tour

Kate Middleton is seen giggling as she excitedly climbs into a tuk-tuk in newly released footage from the Pakistan tour.

The video shows the Duchess of Cambridge smiling and saying "this is too funny" as she appeared to enjoy the ride in the traditional vehicle with Prince William.

A woman can be heard telling them to "enjoy" as they depart and the Duchess responds "thank you so much, we'll see you there".

The royal couple were driven in the specially painted tuk-tuk as they arrived at a reception in Pakistan's National Monument earlier this week.

It formed part of their five-day visit to the Commonwealth country, which hoped to forge closer ties.

The Duchess of Cambridge  gave her first ever news TV interview to mark the end of her royal tour of Pakistan with Prince William.

Despite being a member of the  Royal Family  since 2011 and giving a number of speeches at engagements, Kate has never spoken in this way before.

Standing next to husband Wills at a charity which supports families, the mum-of-three described their five-day trip as "really special".

In a CNN interview, Kate said: "It's been fantastic, we've seen a lot of Pakistan. There's been a huge variety.

"It was amazing seeing some of the geography, but then to see some of the community activities like this has been really special."

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's tour of the country finished on Friday.

It was branded the "most complex" yet for both its "logistical and security considerations".
