Kate Middleton and William board budget plane back from Scottish Highlands break

Kate Middleton and Prince William were seen boarding a budget plane back from their trip to the Scottish Highlands with their three children.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, accompanied by Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, reportedly flew into Norwich Airport in Norfolk at 3.26pm.

They were pictured after reportedly getting off a Loganair plane from Aberdeen International Airport.

The Cambridges were returning from their yearly visit to the Queen's Balmoral Estate.

Richard Pace, managing director of Norwich Airport, told the Eastern Daily Press : "It's always a great privilege to welcome any member of the Royal family to our airport and we are always happy to welcome them."

Last week the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were slammed as hypocrites for being vocal about climate change while taking private jets to travel.

The two took four jets in just 11 days for trips including a holiday to Ibiza for Meghan's 38th birthday.

William and Kate however, boarded a commercial jet with their three kids to make it up to the Scottish residence.

The couple and their children were seen walking onto a £73 FlyBe flight from Norwich to Aberdeen on August 22.

A video taken by a fellow passenger showed dad Wills seen carrying a number of bags as they boarded the flight, while his wife was holding little Louis.

Royal author Phil Dampier has previously said: "The contrast between William, Kate and family travelling on a cheap budget flight to Scotland and Harry and Meghan using private jets couldn’t be starker.

"A cynic might say the Cambridges have done it deliberately, bearing in mind the recent stories about the two brothers and their wives not getting on.

"Harry and Meghan made a point of saying there were only have two children to save the planet knowing William and Kate have had three.

"Could this be William and Kate hitting back?"
