Kate Lawler's second hospital dash horror after baby Noa got finger infection

Kate Lawler has had to take baby Noa to hospital once again after her daughter developed a finger infection.

The presenter and Big Brother legend, 40, has revealed that she has had to make a second trip to the hospital with her baby daughter after having previously dashed to the hospital over Noa's breathing issues.

Now sharing a video of adorable baby Noa on Thursday night, Kate posted: "A&E again".

She then posted another clop of her holding baby Noa's little hands, with her daughter's swollen finger showing.

Kate revealed: "Called 111 as her finger top was red, hot and swollen. Was told to bring her straight to A&E to get it seen to as it's infected."

The following post was a photo of baby Noa's increasingly red finer.

Kate explained: "Have been seen by a nurse, just waiting for doctor. Noa seems in good spirits. She just did a big toilet so I changed her nappy and guess what she did? Yep. Another big toilet. [laughing emoji]

"Good job I brought my changing bag with multiple nappies in."

Noa finally began to receive treatment via a cannula after seven unsuccessful attempts (thekatelawler/Instagram)

She explained: "We're having to stay overnight as she's too young to be sent home with antibiotics.

"They've attempted to putt a cannula in four times but it's not worked. Noa was so distressed. They're giving her a rest before trying again."

Despite the issues, the health professionals attempted another seven times to get the cannula in before it worked.

Kate confirmed that Noa had paronychia and was receiving antibiotic treatment (thekatelawler/Instagram)

Kate detailed: "It took eight attempts to get her cannula in. That's eight needles into a different part of her hand or foot until they were successful. We have to stay 24 hours. I need to sleep."

The mum then recapped the health situation that baby Noa faced for her followers.

She penned: "Noa has paronychia. It's an infection of the finger and it's being treated with antibiotics via the cannula.

"She slept well from 4am. She looks healthy so hoperfully it's a sign she's responding well.

"Hopefully we can home later this evening."
