Kate Lawler in tears after 'hellish day' with baby daughter after her vaccine

New mum Kate Lawler made an emotional plea on Instagram asking her fans whether an entirely good day would ever come having recently had a baby.

Visibly in tears, Kate posted a photo of her daughter Noa's bruised leg following her 16 week vaccine after telling fans she'd had a 'hellish afternoon.'

Taking to social media the Virgin Radio DJ asked: "Is it me or is every day either a joyful morning followed by a hellish afternoon (or vice versa) with a baby? There never seems to be an entirely good or bad day. Do they ever come? Or is this it now for life? I'm feeling so down tonight."

However Kate's fans supported the star as she later thanked them for their messages informing them that her "bruised potato was doing better and resting" followed by a heart emoji.

The former Big Brother winner has paid tribute to the woman who helped her through the first months of motherhood, after she struggled to get any sleep and suffered stress and anxiety.

The 41-year-old has been open and honest about being a new mother and the challenges she has faced since welcoming daughter Noa with her fiancé Martin in February.

It has been reported that she employed a £140-per-night nanny to help her after Noa's sleeping pattern was very disturbed, leaving Kate feeling tired and stressed.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Kate paid tribute to Siobhan Smith, who is a birth doula supporting families in the early months of after the arrival of a baby.

Kate wrote: "I can’t even tell you how much this lovely woman has helped us."

She continued: "She joined us at a real low, when Noa wouldn’t sleep longer than 45 mins for days on end and everything felt so, so, so hard."

Kate had wrote her message on a post that Siobhan had written, as her time with the former reality star came to an end.

Siobhan had written: "As a doula I know when I finish working with a family I have done my job well.

"The families I work with can’t stay in my life forever but they do stay in my heart."

This came after Kate had confessed she has been too scared to shower as she doesn't want to leave baby Noa alone.

Kate admitted she doesn't even want to leave Noa when she's napping or when she's brushing her teeth.

She took to Instagram to ask her followers for advice and said: "I managed to shower today and brush my teeth, get in! At 4pm… But better late than never."
