Kate Lawler gives fans a glimpse of daughter Noa's incredible Scandi-style nursery

Kate Lawler has wowed fans with a sneak peak at her daughter Noa's incredible nursery complete with animal-flocked wallpaper and Scandi-style furnishings.

Taking to Instagram to share the stunning snaps the new mum wrote: "Slowly but surely, room by room, we’re getting there and these photos show what the nursery looked like before we moved in compared to now.

"I’m so happy. It wasn’t a huge job. The flooring was in really good condition before but we wanted carpet in this room. We painted the fireplace surrounding and replaced the blind, painted and obviously the dreamy wallpaper was a must."

The statement wallpaper in Noa's nursery displays a colourful host of woodland animals, which contrasts perfectly with the cream carpet and bleached wood furnishings, reminiscent of the popular Scandi-style.

The before and after pictures show off the huge transformation with the former study's bright red walls and mahogany wood giving way to a much more neutral palate complete with adorable framed animal pictures for little Noa.

Kate and her finance Martin moved home during her pregnancy however while the radio DJ said it wasn't as stressful as everyone told her it would be she did make reference to the short time they had before trying "potato’s arrival."

The couple welcomed their baby girl after deciding to start trying when the coronavirus pandemic disrupted their wedding plans.

"The wedding got cancelled and I wasn't thinking about a baby at all," she previously told Hello magazine .

"But when we rebooked it for the following year, a few of our friends and family said we could have a baby between now and then. I laughed.

"But then I turned 40 in May and suddenly I felt grown up and like I was ready for something and I didn't know what it was.

She added: "We realised we would have to start trying straight away to avoid having a newborn at the wedding. So we did. We gave it one shot. And it happened!"

The new mum has candidly revealed the ups and downs of motherhood regularly documenting her days with her daughter.

Kate recently made an emotional plea on Instagram asking her fans whether an entirely good day would ever come having recently had a baby.

Visibly in tears, she posted a photo of her daughter Noa's bruised leg following her 16 week vaccine after telling fans she'd had a 'hellish afternoon.'

Taking to social media the Virgin Radio DJ asked: "Is it me or is every day either a joyful morning followed by a hellish afternoon (or vice versa) with a baby? There never seems to be an entirely good or bad day. Do they ever come? Or is this it now for life? I'm feeling so down tonight."

However Kate's fans supported the star as she later thanked them for their messages informing them that her "bruised potato was doing better and resting" followed by a heart emoji.
