Kate Garraway has issued an update on the health of her husband Derek Draper.
Over the past year, Kate has charted her family's struggle after Derek became seriously ill with Covid-19 in March 2020.
While Derek has been left with several long-term side effects, he was pictured last month smiling on a rare family outing to the panto.

But Kate has revealed how the trip 'took everything out of him'.
Kate told Good Morning Britain: "He's doing alright you know, he is phenomenally fatigued at the moment.
"He's very weak and very fatigued.
"The trip to the pantomime he was then not out of bed afterwards but he thought it was worth it and I think he did well.
"It was a special thing to be sitting there with the children, holding their hands, doing something normal.
"But it took everything out of him."
Kate added: "We don't know what the year is going to bring but you're right, he is there looking smiley, present, his speech isn't there, but he is aware something special is happening."
Kate was recently made an MBE in the New Year Honours after documenting Derek's battle with coronavirus.
The TV presenter, 54, has been recognised for her services to broadcasting, journalism and charity.
She is a well-known face on ITV, having presented multiple shows including Good Morning Britain, GMTV and Lorraine in a career spanning several decades.
In September 2021 she won the authored documentary prize at the National Television Awards for her hard-hitting documentary Finding Derek.
