Kate Garraway made an emotional return to Good Morning Britain today following her husband Derek Draper's coronavirus battle.
The presenter took her place on the panel along with Ben Shephard after months of being away from the ITV programme to be with her family.
Derek, 52, has been critically ill since being struck down with covid-19 and was put into a medically induced coma on April 5.
Kate, 53, has had an outpouring of support from well wishers while she tends to their two children, Darcey, 14, and Billy, 11 - many of whom are famous faces.
And former Manchester United footballer David Beckham is the latest to offer Kate a helping hand.
She told co-host Ben Shephard: "He very sweetly contacted me on Instagram in a private message saying, 'Is there anything I can do to help?'
"I was tempted to say, 'What about your missus' wardrobe? That would be helpful' - on a joking level.
"I thought it was very, very sweet of him, and me telling Darcey and Billy you've contacted me. They just said, 'no way'.
"They were so pleased, I said that's enough, thank you."
David also sent Kate and the kids a video message of support - but Kate admitted that she didn’t understand why she could only view it once.
It appears that David sent the video with the ‘view once’ function on Instagram.
Kate explained: "He sent a little video message, although he sent it on something clever which I couldn't work, where you play the video message once and then you lose it.
"Fortunately he sent two because Darcey didn't get hers. I said, 'Oh my God, he's sent a message' and I played it and then it disappeared."
