Kate Garraway set for I'm A Celebrity as lineup rumours link Good Morning Britain host to jungle

We're now more than half through October which means that the new series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here isn't far away at all now.

Since bursting onto our screens in the summer of 2002, I'm A Celebrity has had millions of us tuning in year after year to follow the exploits of famous faces in the Australian jungle.

Ant & Dec will be soon bringing the award-winning programme back to our screens for another run, 17 years after Tony Blackburn was the first King of the Jungle.

A whole host of celebrities have been linked to the series so far with the including the likes of Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe , football legend Ian Wright and Coronation Street actress Lucy Fallon.

Ans the latest celeb to have their name linked to the show is an extremely familiar face, who's been waking us up on a morning for years.

The Sun reports that Kate Garraway will appear on the ITV show this year, having hinted at going on last year.

The Good Morning Britain host was apparently all set to go on I'm A Celebrity last year but the 52-year-old's hectic schedule got in the way.

Talking about the prospect of being on the show, Kate previously said "People keep saying I’d be good in there and basically what that means is you want to see me tortured.

“Like really close friends say, ‘Oh you’d be amazing, I really want you to do it.’ And it’s like, ‘What have I done to you?’
