Kate Garraway said the Royal family reached out to her during her husband Derek's coronavirus battle.
Derek has finally returned to his London family home in recent weeks after his year-long battle with Covid-19 in hospital.
Behind the scenes, Good Morning Britain's host explained a member of the Royal family sent her a personal letter.
The letter was a very special gesture as it included the offer of a Royal physician to help with her husband.
Making it known to the world, Kate gushed over the "lovely" and "utterly surreal" gesture from the Royal family.
The mum-of-two kept the identity of the Royal a secret when she made her revelation in her new memoir Kate Garraway: The Power Of Hope.
She wrote: "One day I received a letter from a member of the Royal Family, offering the services of a Royal physician.
"How lovely, I thought, although it seemed utterly surreal."
It come to light in a serialisation in the Mail On Sunday.
Many people from all over have reached out to Kate and her family during the coronavirus pandemic.
Some Brits also shared their own stories of loss and others told their miraculous stories of recovery to give the family hope.
"Hundreds of thousands of people messaged me on Instagram," she wrote.
"Some were just sending love or sharing stories of loss and how they had got through it. Others were writing with tales of miraculous recoveries they wanted me to take heart from."
Also, it has emerged David Beckham made an amazing gesture for Kate and her family during their difficult year.
Kate has completely transformed her home to make it easier for her husband Derek now that he's home.
The transformations included turning their garage into a wet room and installing a ramp outside their property.
All of the changes were documented on the tear-jerking documentary Finding Derek.
Recently, in an exclusive Mirror interview her I'm A Celeb co-star Jacqueline Jossa opened up about the incredible love Kate had for her husband Derek.
She told The Mirror: “I did meet Derek and their kids and they are an absolutely lovely family. It’s weird because all Kate did was talk about Derek, so I had a vision of what he was like.
"She literally would cry every time that she spoke about him, she just loved him so much. It was so nice.
“She’s so strong though. She’s just been dealing with it how she feels appropriate and she’s got kids to keep strong for.”
