Kate Garraway is set to offer an "intimate insight" into how she and her family have coped during the past year in a special one-off film.
Kate Garraway: Finding Derek is set to air on ITV this Spring, as GMB star Kate's husband Derek Draper remains in hospital.
Derek was hospitalised with coronavirus in March 2020 and he is currently still battling numerous health issues despite being covid free now.
Announcing the documentary ITV said: "In a special one-off film, Kate Garraway offers an intimate insight into coping with the impact of Covid-19 as her husband Derek Draper remains seriously ill a year on from contracting the virus.
"Presenter and journalist Kate offers an unflinching account of the profound effects on her family and on others as she opens up on camera for the first time on the reality of the past 12 months.
"As Derek, who was hospitalised in March 2020 with the virus, remains in hospital with severe health issues, Kate also meets survivors of the disease and discusses the somewhat unknown, longer-term effects of the virus.
"As Kate lays bare in the film, her family, along with many others who have suffered the effects of the virus, is now facing the reality of adjusting to a very different way of life to the one they lived before the pandemic hit."
Kate shares two children with Derek, Darcey, 14, and Billy, 11, who are both missing their father.
Last week Kate revealed she is still not allowed to visit her husband due to coronavirus restrictions.

The Good Morning Britain presenter hasn't seen Derek Draper in person for two months, despite being his wife.
On Friday's show after boxing legend Frank Bruno told her to give Derek his regards, she replied: "Unfortunately I'm not allowed to and I haven't been for two months, but I shall try and pass that message on."
