Kate Garraway’s children cheekily back Ian Wright to win I’m A Celebrity

Kate Garraway is doing a fine job of fighting off critters and camping on I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! but her children have placed bets on another star to win.

Lorraine Kelly spoke to the Good Morning Britain presenter’s young children on Tuesday and Kate's daughter Darcey made the funny confession.

Lorraine had asked Darcey, who is in Australia with her brother William and father Derek Draper, if it was true she had put a bet former footballer Ian Wright.

"Yeah I did,” the 13-year-old said during the live interview. "I really hope Mum wins, but I think Ian has got it in the bag to be honest."

Derek turned to his daughter and said: "Do you really think so?"

Lorraine, who was in the studio in London, was left in hysterics as Darcey attempted to backtrack a little bit: "Well, I think Mum should win, but..."

Unable to finish her sentence she jokingly passed the microphone to her younger brother.

Derek then changed the subject as he revealed that he makes a cup of coffee every morning for Ian's wife in the viewing tent, where the camp mates' loved ones watch the show.

Kate's family also appeared on Good Morning Britain earlier in the morning and Derek denied Kate was wearing bikinis to sway the voters.

"Genuinely, she took a few bikinis and swimsuits and she said to me 'I'm not sure they'll see the light of day'," he said. "We have seen a lot of the top. I wonder if it's because of how confident she's feeling.

"I know you think it's for votes but I actually think it's about how good she's feeling."

Last month, Kate’s children told GMB that they were embarrassed when their mum feared critters were trying to crawl up her 'noo-noo'.

On the cringe moment, Darcey admitted: “When she was like, ‘Oh it’s going up my noo noo!’ So embarrassing.”

Later, she sweetly added: “She's so genuine and she will like keep trying and she won't put herself first, she's like so selfless she'll just do everything for everyone else before she thinks of herself.”

Kate recently got emotional when talking to her fellow campers about the moment when she couldn’t remember the smell of her children’s hair.

Lorraine continues tomorrow at 8.30am and I'm A Celebrity airs at 9pm.
