Kate Garraway has revealed which star refused to join the Celebrity Traitors' WhatsApp group chat amid rumours of behind-the-scenes drama.
The BBC series finished filming at Ardross Castle in the Scottish highlands in May, with the final episode due to air on Thursday, November 6.
Many celebrity contestants have kept in touch via WhatsApp although Kate, 58, revealed one star who rejected the offer to join the group chat.
The broadcaster told The Sun: "The WhatsApp group is popping off all day and night, actually. It’s brilliant.
"We invited Claudia [Winkleman] to join the group because we all adore Claudia, obviously. But she said no.
"She said, 'You need a place that’s just for you guys now that you’re out and you know what’s going on.'"
Kate said in the interview that she knew little about the friendships among cast members and only learned of some of the dynamics when watching the show.
Elsewhere, she noted Alan Carr has never said anything bad about Paloma Faith and she was unsure if the pair, who were good friends before the show, had fallen out.
It followed Alan's surprise decision to 'murder' Paloma in his role as a traitor, marking the series' first victim and shocking fans.
Kate also said that during a cast catch-up, both Jonathan Ross and Ruth Codd seemed to get along "fine" with each other.
Her observation comes after Ruth, 29, was reported to have angrily spoke out about being 'murdered' on the show in a backstage meltdown, and called Jonathan, who was one of the traitors, a "f****** snake".
Insiders say actress Ruth, who starred in Netflix's Fall of the House of Usher and Midnight Club, was "furious" at being ousted early in the show's run and blasted Jonathan, 64, who she correctly guessed was a traitor.
Ruth reportedly described her elimination as a "f****** joke".
An insider revealed: "Ruth was furious after she was murdered during the early stages of filming.
"She called Jonathan a "f***ing snake" and really let go of her anger behind the scenes.
"There was definitely frustration from Ruth that her co-stars weren't listening to her after she correctly identified Jonathan as a Traitor.
"Ruth felt that not many of the celebrities were following their own instincts and minds, which meant the game wasn't always played properly."
Among the cast members criticised for "not following their instincts" was Kate herself, who was banished by the other faithful on last Thursday's episode.
During the roundtable discussion, retired English rugby player Joe Marler accused Kate of failing to be her usual shrewd "broadcaster" self and instead being "ditzy".
After hearing Marler's comments, Kate opened up a discussion challenging anyone who thought she may be a traitor and she was soon banished.
Just five celebrities remain for the finale, with Alan Carr and Cat Burns as the traitors and surviving faithfuls Nick Mohammed, David Olusoga and Joe Marler, who has been earmarked as a favourite to win.
