Kate Garraway returned to Instagram to send a sweet message to her friend and fellow presenter Eamonn Holmes.
The Good Morning Britain star, 53, had taken a step back from social media while her critically ill husband, Derek Draper, continues to fight for life against coronavirus.
The 52-year-old has been in hospital for 11 weeks, with his wife recently revealing she had been warned by doctors he may never fully recover.
Kate had been sharing weekly updates, but this week remained silent.
However, she did return to social media to send a nice comment to Eamonn, reports the Mirror Online.
The This Morning host, 60, shared a picture of himself with his daughter Rebecca to celebrate her birthday, writing: "Many Happy Returns Darlin.
"It was a very Special day when Becca my daughter came into the World and every time I'm with her continues to be Special."
Kate took to Instagram to comment on his post, sharing a series of love heart emojis on Eamonn's page.
It came after Kate skipped the Clap For Carers for the first time on Thursday night.
She has taken part in the event every week since March while her husband fought for his life.
The clap ended two weeks ago, but she previously staged her own at home to continue showing her support for the NHS staff looking after Derek.
Derek was taken to hospital on March 29 after struggling to breathe, with doctors eventually putting him in an induced coma on April 5.
The TV journalist recently opened up about her partner's illness, revealing that although he is now free of the bug, it has wreaked havoc on his body.
