Kate Garraway has been married to husband Derek Draper for 16 years.
The mum-of-two had her world turned upside down after Derek contracted Covid-19 in March 2020.
Derek, 54, was placed in an induced coma on a ventilator, and is thought to be the worst affected living covid patient in the United Kingdom

The former political lobbyist recently returned home following a year in hospital but is still continuing his recovery from the virus, which has affected much of his body.
He has been left with various health issues including damage to several organs, and Kate last month told Piers Morgan's Life Stories viewers that the virus had "devastated him" from the "top of his head to the tip of his toe".
In October, Kate said it had "not been easy", with Derek making slow progress, and sleeping 20 hours each day.

Derek is requiring round the clock care with two people needed to give him a wash and the medical staff working shifts so that he always has someone by his side, reports the Mirror.
So how did Kate and Derek meet - and where did they get married?
Kate and Derek first met when they were introduced by mutual friend Gloria De Piero, who was the political editor of GMTV, in 2014.
Derek was a political adviser at the time and was among a group set up for drinks at Claridge’s.
Kate told The Times in 2019 about their first meeting, admitting she ignored him to start with.
She said: “Derek arrived thinking it was a date and that I was being incredibly cool by ignoring him.
"He asked me out, but the day of our date called to say he had a clash.
"He’d promised to serve wine at an amateur watercolour painting exhibition at his church. I really thought it was a wind-up.
"But I turned up and he was indeed serving wine to the congregation in a salmon-pink jumper."
Derek thought that he had messed up their first meeting but made up for it on their first date and the pair soon became inseparable as feelings for each other grew.
Kate has kept most of the details about their wedding private, though she did previously speak about how they had an unlikely guest on the big day.
Years before Kate appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, Brendan Cole was among the attendees.
Kate told The Times in November 2020: "Hilariously, Brendan Cole was at the wedding, years before I did Strictly Come Dancing.
“I assumed he was someone’s boyfriend, but Derek had secretly been having dancing lessons with him.
"Derek is like that: when he wants to learn something, he studies it until he can do it perfectly."
The pair have two children together called Billy, 11, and Darcey, 15.
In the early stages of their courtship, Kate was in and out of hospital with a kidney cyst.
Derek dutifully cared for her throughout – completely winning Kate over.
Kate and Derek were married in September 2005 - just a year after meeting - in a low-key ceremony in Chorley.
The two were planning to renew their vows last year to make their 15th wedding anniversary, before Derek became ill with covid.
Speaking on ITV, Kate told her friend Piers that Derek has "fought so hard to still be here" and that she will "not give up on him ever".
