Kate Garraway issued an update on her husband Derek Draper as she prepares to spend Christmas with her family.
The TV presenter has publicly charted her husband Derek Draper's Covid-19 battle, from his hospitalisation in March 2020 to his return home in April 2021.
Derek now requires 24-hour care at home, provided by Kate and healthcare professionals.

Speaking to her co-host, Richard Bacon, on Good Morning Britain, Kate described a heartwarming moment that happened with Derek recently.
Kate said: "He has extraordinary problems with communication, manoeuvrability is very limited, massive problems with fatigue and sometimes it's like he's not present with you.
"And we were playing a silly game, one of those moral question games...
"And Darcey said, 'Who is most likely to find money on the floor and keep it?'."
Kate continued: "We were playing it in his bedroom so he could be part of it.
"And everyone in the room - my mum and dad, Darcey, Billy and myself, all said at the same time, 'Darcey' and he started to laugh."
"And honestly it was just the most lovely moment. So you thought, he does get it, he does understand and he's right because she is the most likely to find money and keep it."
Kate added: "You get these extraordinary flashes which create a huge surge of hope and that has to sustain you in the periods when it feels like there's never going to be any change.
"But most of all we're so lucky that we've got the chance because many people passed away and don't have it."
