Kate Garraway flashes a huge smile as she arrives at work draped in an England flag

Kate Garraway was all smiles as she turned up to work with an England flag draped around her on Friday.

The GMB presenter, 54, arrived at Smooth Radio studios in central London for her shift, looking incredibly happy ahead of the England game in the Euros 2020 quarter-final tomorrow.

She looked radiant as ever, wearing a statement leopard print coat with dark blue jeans and trainers, while carrying a suitcase.

Kate wore no makeup, but her skin was glowing as she showed off her natural beauty.

The TV star was clearly rooting for England as she proudly walked around the streets nearby to the studios, strutting her stuff for the camera with the flag catching people's attention.

She even stopped to wave at the camera, flashing her big smile.

Kate is looking more cheerful following the devastating year she has had, with her husband Derek Draper battling back to health after being diagnosed with Covid-19 over a year ago.

Her ITV colleagues were understood to be left distraught by her husband's health battle, but Lorraine says news anchor Susanna has in particular been a "rock" to Kate throughout.

Lorraine admitted: "Kate has been extraordinary.

"What she's going through is remarkable. I think for everyone who works at ITV, it's really brought it home to us when it happens to someone so close to you and it's so catastrophic.

"It does make us all more concerned that we have to get the vaccine, we have to obey the rules.

"Everyone knows that, it's only a small proportion - I don't know what they're thinking, they're deluding themselves.

"Because we are in it together, we're going to get out of it together."We have all got responsibility, we've got to get the vaccine for us and for the people we love," she told The Sun.

Explaining how Kate's network, including her GMB colleagues have been supporting her.

Lorraine explained: "We see every week, we always check in to say how are things - text and call.

"She's got an amazing support system around her. She's got all her really close friends around her and then her colleagues who are at her back.

"Piers has been brilliant, Ben has been amazing. Susanna has been an absolute rock. I hope that has helped her."
