Kate Garraway expressed her horror over the "unspeakable" murder of Sarah Everard, saying that she "felt her mum's pain".
Sarah's mum made a heartbreakingly powerful victim impact statement in the court as she addressed police officer Wayne Couzens during his sentencing for murder, kidnap and rape.
Addressing newspaper headlines as she hosted Good Morning Britain today, Kate said: "Sarah Everard is absolutely everywhere and the heartbreaking testimonies and statements from her family at Couzens' sentencing yesterday.
"It is unspeakable and you just can't help just feel that pain, particularly when her mum talked about being haunted about what her last hours must have been like."
Sarah's mum spoke alongside her daughter Katie and husband Jeremy, Susan Everard said that she inwardly screams for her daughter not to get in her killers' car every evening at the time of the abduction.
Susan told the court on Wednesday: "In the morning I wake up to the awful reality that Sarah is gone. In the evenings, at the time she was abducted, I let out a silent scream: Don't get in the car, Sarah. Don't believe him. Run!
"I am repulsed by the thought of Wayne Couzens and what he did to Sarah.
"I am outraged that he masqueraded as a policeman in order to get what he wanted. Sarah wanted to get married and have children, now all that has gone.
"He took her life and stole her future and we will never have the joy of sharing that future with her.
"Each day dawns and I think, Sarah should be here, leading her life and embracing new experiences. She had so many years ahead of her."
The Old Bailey heard how Couzens, 48, abused Covid-19 lockdown regulations to kidnap Sarah in a fake arrest then rape and strangle her.
He used his Metropolitan Police-issue warrant card and handcuffs to snatch Sarah as she walked home from a friend's house in Clapham, south London, on the evening of March 3.
The firearms officer, who had clocked off from a 12-hour shift at the American embassy that morning, drove to a secluded rural area near Dover in Kent, where he parked up and raped Sarah.
The marketing executive, who lived in Brixton, south London, had been strangled with Couzen's police belt by 2.30am the following morning.
Married Couzens burned her body in a refrigerator in an area of woodland he owned in Hoads Wood, near Ashford, Kent, before dumping the remains in a nearby pond.
