Kate Garraway distracts viewers with 'fried eggs' on Good Morning Britain

Kate Garraway left Good Morning Britain viewers distracted during the first show of the week.

The presenter was back at the helm of the ITV news programme alongside Charlotte Hawkins on Monday with more of the latest news headlines and entertainment news.

But viewers ended up being distracted by Kate's outfit choice.

The 54-year-old opted for a khaki green dress that featured large white and yellow daisies, while Charlotte, 46, was rocking a bright yellow number.

But while Charlotte may have gone for the brighter option, it was Kate who had viewers talking on social media.

And many were distracted by her 'fried eggs'.

"Kate Garraway has her fried eggs on this morning" one tweeted.

Another said: "Kate Garraway's daisy are somewhat distracting #GMB."

"Why has Kate got fried eggs plastered all over her dress?" a third viewer asked.

Kate and Charlotte were hosting GMB on Monday (ITV)

A fourth concerned fan commented: "@kategarraway @GMB Kate have you seen the position of two of the daisies on your dress? #katesdress #kategarrawaysdress."

Another said: "@kategarraway your dress today is cool, love it #GMB #Flowers."

That wasn't the only thing getting attention when Kate suffered an awkward camera blunder.

The hosts had been talking about the Taliban takeover in Kabul when she attempted to ask viewers to get in touch with their thoughts on the matter.

"It would be lovely to hear from you at home...do let us know what you think at home this morning. Is it time to walk away? It's a problem..."

"I'm trying to talk to camera but there's none on me!" she said as she stuttered over her words.

Kate then laughed and threw her hands in the air exclaiming: "There we go," as the camera finally focused on her as she directed questions at those watching at home.
