Good Morning Britain 's Kate Garraway was forced to step in and correct Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden when he mistakenly called the programme GMTV on Friday's show.
The minister apologised profusely as Kate revealed she had worked on both shows and said she appreciated he had watched the show for that long that he recalls GMTV.
GMTV was GMB's predecessor breakfast news and current affairs show, which was broadcast from 1993-2010.
Charlotte Hawkins introduced the topic: "MPs have warned that confidence in the AstraZeneca vaccine has been damaged after some European countries temporarily halted their roll out."
Kate continued: "Yes, the European Medicine Agency has concluded the vaccine is safe and effective, but is their conclusion enough to quell the fears?

"We are in a situation where there is no more evidence available to reassure people with, no conclusions could be drawn other than it is as safe as any science can possibly show us right now.
"And yet there are still fears, there are still people not turning up to their appointments. What can be done to regain public confidence, and do you think that the European countries' hesitancy has damaged the situation?"
The minister replied: "Firstly, it's very important not just what we have heard from the European Medicine's regulator but also from our own regulator.

"This vaccine is safe, you can have confidence in it, it's good for you, it stops you getting this horrible disease, and it's good for the country because it helps stop the spread of the disease.
"The number one thing people can do if they have hesitancy is look at reliable news sources, go to the BBC, to GMTV, see what they are saying about it, go to Gov.uk, if you have concerns you will see they are addressed there.
"The vast majority of people, as the chief medical officer said yesterday, are still turning up and taking their vaccines, and this should take further confidence from further analysis."

Laughing, Kate cut in: "As I've worked on both GM:TV and on Good Morning Britain, I feel I should say to the Culture Secretary that we are actually Good Morning Britain, but it's lovely you have watched us for that long!"
The MP apologised: "It's been one of those mornings, the fire alarm has gone off and everything else, so forgive me, I know full well you're GMB!"
Kate replied: "We've been around a long time, that's fine, and we hopefully always will be!"
