Kate Garraway was left taken aback as she hosted Good Morning Britain on Friday.
The TV presenter was back at the helm of the ITV news programme alongside Ben Shephard.
Towards the end of the show, the pair were joined in the studio by much-loved children's author Michael Rosen, who was talking about his new book.
But ahead of his chat, a competition with Andi Peters aired and upon returning to the hosts in the studio, Kate was heard talking.

Quickly realising she was back on air, the 54-year-old said: "Just found out something extraordinary from our next guest Michael Rosen."
She then addressed GMB viewers and added: "That's why you came back to me gasping."
Kate went on to explain that his book, Sticky Mcstickstick, tells the story of the walking stick which aided his recovery after his battle with coronavirus that left him in intensive care for seven weeks.
But when he sat on the desk alongside Kate, he revealed that he had been cared for by the same doctors and nurses who had cared for her husband, Derek Draper.

Ben explained: "The reason we were gasping was because you thanking hospital staff, turns out it was the same staff, the same hospital staff, that were looking after Derek."
Kate added: "I didn't know until a few moments ago... " Before gesturing to Michael: "Go on, you say..."
He explained: "We were several beds from each other in the intensive care ward. That's what I've been told."
Michael was in a coma just like Derek early last year.

"Not very knowing of each other," Michael said. "We didn't strike up a friendship as you can imagine."
"No you weren't speaking or moving at that point," Kate replied.
"Wow," Kate was then heard saying as Ben began to speak about Michaels's book.
As they later wrapped up the interview, Kate told Michael: "It was lovely to see you.
"It's a lovely comfort to me that you were next to Derek even though you couldn't speak to each other and we'll talk more about that."
Derek spent a year in hospital after contracting coronavirus with the virus "wreaking havoc" on his body.
He was finally allowed to return home to Kate and their two children in April this year where he receives around-the-clock care.
Just this week Kate said she was 'emotional' after making a decision about her home.
She told her Instagram followers she has packed up Derek's therapy rooms and office, commenting she found it difficult because "I didn’t want to seem to be giving up hope of him returning to the work he loves one day."
