Kate Ferdinand was reduced to tears after Rio Ferdinand's son Lorenz unveiled a touching birthday tribute on social media for his step mum.
The former TOWIE star celebrated her 29th birthday on Wednesday and had a 'fabulous day' with her husband Rio, 41, and his children Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, Tia, nine.
Although Kate marked her birthday in lockdown, the tight-knit family ensured that she was showered with plenty of birthday love and had the house decorated with stunning balloons.
Among a number of birthday messages that Kate received throughout the day, was one from Rio's eldest son, Lorenz.
In the adorable post, Lorenz shared a stunning family picture alongside a heartfelt birthday wish for his stepmum.
"Happy birthday @xkateferdinand love you loads thank you for everything you do," the youngster wrote.
Kate was clearly touched by the message and quickly re-shared the post with her 1.2 million Instagram followers, adding a response of her own.
"Ok your making me cry again. love you," she wrote, adding a love heart emoji alongside.
Later in the day, the blonde bombshell shared a picture of her celebrations and revealed that she had ditched her phone to spend time with Rio and the kids.
Returning to social media to thank everyone for their birthday wishes, Kate said that she was feeling 'so loved' and that her day had been 'surprisingly amazing'.
"Had the most fabulous birthday... feeling so loved, lockdown birthday has been surprisingly amazing," she wrote yesterday.
"Thanks for all the messages, sorry I’ve not been on my phone all afternoon. been enjoying myself with my lovely family.
Kate added: "Thank you to all my friends & family for making it so special from a far but most of all my husband and Lorenz, Tate & Tia, love you so much."
It looks like Kate wasn't the only one who was too caught up in the family fun to check their phones.
Earlier today, her husband Rio posted a cute tribute to mark his wife's birthday and admitted it was a day late because they were having so much fun.
"Happy birthday to my beautiful wife (it was yesterday ) I got caught up with the kids trying to make it a special lockdown birthday and so forgot to post. I love you so much you are my everything. My love," he wrote.
