Kate Ferdinand 'struggled to accept her flaws' amid crippling anxiety battle

Kate Ferdinand, née Wright, has shared that she previously 'struggled to accept her flaws' in a candid Instagram Q and A with her fans.

The former TOWIE star, 27, who earlier this year confessed she used to be "scared" of discussing her mental health , encouraged her followers to ask her questions about her new book Fitter Happier Healthier: The Ultimate Body Plan on the social media platform.

When asked: "What age is this book aimed at? Is it suitable for teenage girls?"

The newlywed recommended that her book was for all ages and told: "This book isn’t about losing weight, it’s about becoming fitter and happier and living a healthy happy lifestyle and learning to love yourself."

At the start of the year, the blonde told shared that her resolution for 2019 was to "love herself" as she "suffers with bad anxiety."

She wrote on Instagram: "One of my New Years resolutions is to accept myself, something I struggle with.

"Anyone that knows me well knows I suffer with bad anxiety & really struggle to love myself.

"Most days are a battle with what’s going on in my head.

"I’ve sort of kept this off social media as I’ve been to scared to share it, and the less I shared the more distant instagram is from my daily life... that’s going to change this year.

"I’m going to give more of the ups and downs, not just the fun times.

"This year I will not let society’s views on who I should be and what I should look like effect me.

"I have been so busy making sure everyone else if ok that I have forgot about looking after myself properly...

"This year I am working on me; mind, body, soul."
