Kate Ferdinand shows off her baby bump on family break

Pregnant Kate Ferdinand has revealed her 'blooming' baby bump on a family break.

The mum-to-be, who is expecting her first baby with her Manchester United legend husband Rio Ferdinand, wowed fans with a sun-soaked photo of herself wearing a white bikini and over-sized brim sun visor.

The former TOWIE star looked relaxed as she gazed out to sea.

"One last trip before school starts ..." she wrote on her Instagram.

"The baby seems to like a holiday," she added.

"Blooming lovely," said one follower.

"Gorgeous," said another.

"You look amazing!!" another follower told her.

Last month Kate reassured her followers that she was okay after receiving concerned messages when she took a break from social media.

Kate, 29, returned to Instagram to explain that she was simply going through a phase of not wanting to be on social media and to reassure she's absolutely fine.

"Sometimes I go through phases and feel like I just don't don't want to be on social media ... does anyone else?" she asked.

"When I have a small break I find myself getting lots of messages asking if I'm okay.

"It's lovely and I'm absolutely fine.

"It's been a hectic lockdown and summer holidays.

"Family life is a million miles an hour and Instagram just isn't a top priority of mine."

Kate, who has 1.3m followers, said she'd do her best to share more.

"I'm going to try my best to post more (I can't promise though)."

In June the doting stepmum shared the exciting news that she was expecting her first child with Rio by posting a video of the moment she told Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and Tia, nine, Rio's children with his late wife Rebecca Ellison.

The couple, who married in September, were sitting around the table chatting with when Kate told them.

They jumped to their feet and the family cheered and hugged as they shared their joy.

Kate and Rio, 41, started dating in 2017 and the couple married in September 2019.

Their story featured in the documentary Rio and Kate: Becoming a Stepfamily.

It followed Rio's emotional BAFTA-winning 2017 documentary Rio Ferdinand: Being Mum And Dad, which followed the footballer having to come to terms with losing his wife and being the sole parent to their children.
