Kate Ferdinand shares reality of being a mum as she admits to being exhausted

Kate Ferdinand has opened up to her followers admitting that she feels exhausted after becoming a mum.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star welcomed baby boy Cree at Christmas with Manchester United legend Rio.

Kate, 29, said in a post on her Instagram Stories that she'd decided to 'share the reality' and told fans that she doesn't look her glam self every day.

Speaking without makeup and wearing pyjamas Kate grabbed a moment to share online while Cree was sleeping.

"I should be in the shower, does anyone else do this?" she asked, adding that her son will 'probably wake up and scream.'

The doting mum said she felt 'brave' to speak out without any filter and without makeup.

"I don't look glam every day," she admitted.

"I'm tired, I've been up most the night. I've just realised I've got to share the reality."

"We can do both. We can be glam and we can be exhausted too."

With Cree stirring, Kate realised that she'd missed her chance to grab a shower.

Saying she didn't have plans for the day ahead she said: "Today I'm just winging life, we're winging life."

Kate married her 'soulmate' Rio with a three day celebration in Turkey in September 2019.

Kate is also a doting step-mum to Rio's three children Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and nine-year-old Tia with his late wife Rebecca Ellison.

Earlier this year Kate was applauded for speaking out about choosing to bottle feed Cree.

She said she was worried about admitting it at first because she felt there is 'so much pressure to breastfeed.'

She wrote alongside a photo of herself feeding Cree that he was 'the happiest little soul.'
