Kate Ferdinand shares rare photo of baby son Cree dressed in England kit

Kate Ferdinand has shared a sweet photo of her baby son Cree sporting an England kit.

The former TOWIE star posted a snap of her step-daughter Tia, nine, tenderly cradling the six-month old infant.

Tia is also wearing an England strip as the Ferdinand household tuned in to support England beat the Czech Republic 1-0 in their last Euro 2020 group qualifying match.

“Big sister cuddles,” penned Kate with an England flag, football and heart emoji for good measure.

Kate and husband Rio Ferdinand, the former England and Manchester United footballer, celebrated the birth of Cree in December.

And last week Kate flaunted her incredible figure just six months after giving birth.

In a post to her 1.4million Instagram followers, Kate shared a picture of Cree lying beside her on a training mat while she exercised.

Kate was in the bridge position as she gazed adoringly at her son who, lying on his front, looked in his element in the couple’s luxury home gym.

“New gym buddy,” joked Kate, who often trains with her super-fit husband.

But it has not all been plain sailing for Kate during her pregnancy and also moving into Rio’s former martial home.

The 30-year-old admitted she struggled after moving in with Rio and his three kids, Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and Tia, who he shared with his late wife Rebecca.

Rio's mum Janice also died just two years after the death of his wife Rebecca, and Kate revealed she really struggled during this time and “cried every day for a year”.

"I cried every single day for a year when I first moved in with Rio, it was an incredibly difficult time,” revealed Kate in a candid interview with You magazine.

"Nothing in the house was mine; everyone called it 'Rio’s house'.

"All the photographs were of Rebecca and the children. I had no place. I remember after six months becoming obsessed with wanting Molton Brown Rhubarb & Rose soap that I always have at home, just to have a smell I knew.

"I bought a bottle and put it downstairs but it got taken away. As stupid as it sounds, that crushed me, but what was making me feel more isolated was if I said those things out loud people would think I was pathetic and selfish."

Kate admitted she “lost herself” but thankfully the couple have worked on their relationship and emerged better for it.

“I felt as though I was acting all the time, trying to smile and learn to cook and be this perfect woman,” admitted Kate.

"When I’d cook something, someone would say, 'Rebecca didn’t do it like that', and I’d smile but inside I’d feel crushed."

Kate needed an emergency C-section for Cree’s birth – and the family pulled together to help with the newborn.

“I had an emergency C-section and couldn't do much, and he and the children helped me so much and have been amazing, more than what I expected,” Kate told The Mirror.

"It's just sort of unexpected. I'm someone who likes to prepare for everything, I'm very organised, I used to be a PA, so when you go into labour and you have something unexpected, obviously it could happen, it just throws you a little bit.

"And it did throw me off a little bit to be honest with you."
