Kate Ferdinand has shared her joy that the summer holidays are finally.
The former TOWIE star, 29, is rejoicing in the fact that her step-kids are finally back to school as she opened up about her first day back at work.
Kate, who shares baby son Cree with footballer husband Rio, took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the summer coming to an end alongside a sweet mother-son snap.
She is also a proud step-mum to Rio's older three children, Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and 10-year-old Tia.
Blonde bombshell Kate beamed in the wholesome photograph which saw her cuddle her beautiful little boy in her arms as the pair headed outside for a breath of fresh September air.
As always, Kate was dressed to impress in a chic nude long-sleeved top and a pair of muted cream jeans.
The proud mum tied her golden locks into a high ponytail and finished off the look with a pair of chunky gold earrings.
Alongside the sweet snap, Kate told her followers: “I’ve been really quiet this summer and have just been enjoying the special moments.
“I really have had such an amazing time with the kids but I’m also extremely glad they are back to school,” she quipped.
Kate also teased an upcoming work project that she is bursting to reveal.
“My first day back at work today and it feels good. I have so much exciting stuff to share with you all. I can’t wait.
“Just getting in some laughs and cuddles with my chunkt one before I left.”
It comes after Kate recently made the brave decision to share a make-up free selfie revealing she has pigmentation.
She decided to post the candid snap after people kept asking her "what’s the dark thing above your lip?“
Pigmentation is a very common skin condition, which can get worse after pregnancy and refers to patches of skin that become darker than surrounding areas of skin.
Mum-of-one Kate captioned her selfie with: "Me without makeup. For the last few years even with SPF 50 and a hat, as soon as the sun comes out my face looks like a patch work.
"I always feel so insecure about it & it really does get me down, I try to cover it at all costs.
"For much of my life I’ve felt like I have to try my best to be perfect, I’m fed up of having crazy unrealistic expectations all of the time.
"Although I make it hard for myself sometimes I’m trying my best to love myself as I am."
Naturally, Kate's candid post was met with an outpouring of support.
